Introduction
Whereas we believe that the whole of life must be brought under the authority of the Word of God, that the Lord Jesus Christ is King of the home as well as of the individual life, that the education of children rests with the parents, that schools complement the home and therefore, must share the same responsibility, based on those beliefs, we have thereby established a school for the support and maintenance of the education of our children and offer the same to our community.
Statement of
Faith:
1.
The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally
inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation
of men. They constitute the
divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.(2 Timothy 3:15; Peter
1:21)
2.
We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three
persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John
10:30)
3.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary
sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His
shed blood. He arose from the
dead according to the Scriptures.
He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High
Priest. He will come again to
establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
4.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower
the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of
judgment.
5.
Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God; he fell through
disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death.
All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the life of
God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
6.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are
saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the
resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)
7.
We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Romans 8:9; I Cor. 12:12-13; Gal. 3:26-28)
8. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and pre-millennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.
