Principal
The principal is the administrative and educational head of the school.
He/She is the chief school administrator to whom all the school's
faculty and staff are accountable.
The administration and supervision of the educational activities of
the school are delegated by the Church Governing Board and
the pastor to the Academy Council, who hires the principal to
administer the school in accordance with the policies adopted by the council
and in keeping with the Academy's by‑laws.
Academy Council
The Academy Council serves as guardian of the purposes of the school, and as
a policy making body for the school.
The Council is composed of no more than nine members and not less
than five members in addition to the pastor and the principal.
The Council is amenable to the Church Governing Board.
Church Governing Board
The Governing Board of The Girard Alliance Church is the governing body of
the church and its ministries.
The Board has final approval of the Academy Council minutes and all policies
and motions therein.
Pastor
The Pastor of the
Elementary, Middle School, and High School Directors
The directors are assistants to the principal and are in charge of their
respective grade levels. The directors are responsible for the curriculum
development, scheduling of elementary, middle school and high school
classes, and ACSI academic competitions.
Athletic Director
The Athletic Director is in charge of the athletic program of the Academy. All coaches are accountable to the A. D. The A. D. is responsible for the scheduling of games, transportation for away games, and all officials needed for home games.
